Meet Russell Rice

Mr. Rice is currently President of Rice Aviation Group, LLC with offices in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was previously with Cessna Aircraft Company where he sold over 115 new Cessna Citations in a twelve-year career and earned both Area Sales Manager of the Year and Division Sales Director of the Year awards.

Most recently, Mr. Rice “retired” from Executive Jet Management (EJM) where he enjoyed the role of VP, Managed Sales, for North Texas and Oklahoma. To further enhance his aviation expertise, he recently gained certification as a Gulfstream G-280 SIC from FlightSafety International, DFW-North.

He is an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with over 4,000 hours including a CitationJet Type Rating with single-pilot privileges and rotorcraft rating. He has served as a lay Biblical counselor at Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin with dual majors in Finance and Real Estate. He has recorded six hole-in-ones.

Prior to joining Cessna/Citation in 1995, Mr. Rice was Leasing Director for USAA in Austin, Texas where he was responsible for the performance of a 500,000 sf, class A, office portfolio. He currently holds a Texas Real Estate Broker’s license and adheres to the ethics and integrity of the National Association of Realtors in his aviation business.

Mr. Rice began his aviation career in 1987 at Mooney Aircraft Company in Kerrville, Texas where he was Fleet Sales Manager.
